4 Exercises That Make Your Breasts Look Bigger

How to make your breast bigger
10 Exercises That Make Your Breasts Look Bigger

Nothing short of surgery or gaining body fat can actually increase the size of your breasts. As for making them look bigger, well, that's why the chunk of change we spend on bras each year is larger than the GDP of Iceland.
Push-ups and padding aren't your only options, though. "Developing the muscles underneath your breasts will enhance the look of your breasts and make them appear larger," says Jen Comas Keck, a certified personal trainer and former figure competitor.
Let's be honest: This workout won't turn A cups into Bs or beyond. But if—like most women—you rarely train your chest, then you're missing out on a natural way to add a little extra oomph.

The following workout was created by Comas Keck specifically for women. "Working the chest from multiple angles with enough weight ensures plenty of stimulus to increase strength and develop the muscles," she says. "This can add beautiful shape to the chest."
The key to making this plan effective: Make sure to choose weights that are heavy enough. You should feel like you could do about two more reps at the end of each set, but no more. "It’s important to challenge yourself with heavier weights in order for muscle growth to take place," says Comas Keck. Perform the following routine twice a week.
MOVE 1Dumbbell Bench Press

BETH BISCHOFF
Lie faceup on a bench with your arms straight, a dumbbell in each hand(A). Lower the dumbbells until they’re close to the sides of your chest (B), then press them back up to the starting position. That's one rep. Do 10 reps, then go to move 2 without rest.

MOVE 2Pushup

BETH BISCHOFF
Start on all fours, your palms slightly wider than your shoulders, feet close together. Your body should form a straight line from head to toe (A). Lower down until your chest almost touches the floor. Keep your upper arms at a 45-degree angle to your torso (B). Pause, then push back to the starting position. Do 10 pushups and rest 90 seconds.
Repeat moves 1 and 2 one more time (so you'll do each exercise twice). Rest 90 seconds before move 3.
MOVE 3Incline Dumbbell Bench Press

BETH BISCHOFF
Sit on an adjustable bench set to a low incline (about 15 to 30 degrees) and place your feet flat on the floor. Grasp two dumbbells and hold them up above your shoulders, arms straight (A). Slowly lower the weights down to the sides of your chest (B). Pause, then press the dumbbells back up toward the ceiling. Do 10 reps, then go to move 4 without rest.
MOVE 4Dumbbell Fly

BETH BISCHOFF
Lie faceup on a flat bench with your feet flat on the floor. Hold a pair of dumbbells above your shoulders with your elbows slightly bent (A). Keeping the slight bend in your elbows, lower the weights until your elbows are even with your chest (B). Keep the same bend in your elbows as you press the weights back up. Perform 10 reps. Rest 90 seconds.
Repeat moves 3 and 4 (you'll do each exercise twice).

How One Woman Lost Nearly 100 Lbs by Making Weight Loss Fun

How One Woman Lost Nearly 100 Lbs by Making Weight Loss Fun

Before: 232 lbs
After: 137 lbs

Kacey Lauchnor, 25, grew up in a family with suspect health habits. "If we ever ate a vegetable, it was covered in cheese," says the graphic designer from Herriman, Utah. Her eating habits continued throughout college and after her wedding, and by 2012, 5'6" Kacey clocked in at 232 pounds. "I knew I was getting fat," she says. "But I still thought, I'm not that fat."
After her husband—who had reached 314 pounds himself—was denied life insurance coverage because of his size, Kacey signed them up for a variety of workout classes. "It was hard at first but a lot of fun," she says. "It was always something different—cardio, lunges, squats, kickboxing." By August 2014, she had cracked the 150's, and before the winter holidays, Kacey saw 140 pounds on the scale for the first time she could remember. (Her husband dropped a cool 85 pounds too.)
Here's how Kacey was able to accomplish her weight-loss goals:

• Write down the plan. "Willpower doesn't happen in the moment. Always make food decisions—like what you'll eat for lunch—ahead of time so you're not tempted in the moment."

• Learn what full is. "As I started to focus on eating more slowly, I began to naturally notice when I felt like stopping."

• Find exercise you enjoy. "If your workout feels like suffering, try something else."

14 Most Dangerous Summer Foods

1# Summer foods that can make you sick

Who doesn't love picnics and barbecues? Thing is, if you don't practice safe food preparation, outdoor eating can also set the stage for foodborne illness. Every year approximately 1 in 6 Americans gets sick, and 128,000 are hospitalized from foodborne diseases, according to the CDC. Among 31 known pathogens, most deaths occur from Salmonella,ToxoplasmaListeria, and norovirus. "The rule of thumb is that no foodshould be left out for four total hours," says Amy Goodson, RD, a dietitian at Ben Hogan Sports Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. "This refers to not just four hours at a time, but four accumulated hours." The following foods are most likely to ruin your good time.

2# Burger

Undercooked meat puts you at risk for potentially life-threatening illness from a subtype of E. colibacteria called O157:H7. An outbreak in 2014 linked to ground beef contaminated with this type ofE. coli sickened 12 people from four different states. "Your risk largely depends on the number of cows making up your ground beef," says Michael Schmidt, PhD, professor at the department of microbiology and immunology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). "The greater the number of cows the greater chance of having something that was not intended to be in the meat." Ground beef is riskier than specific cuts of meat that come from a single cow. Regardless, cook burgers or any beef to an internal temperature of at least 160 degrees to kill E. coli.

3# Caesar dressing

Eating a Caesar salad can make you sick if the dressing is made the traditional way—with raw eggs. (Store-bought bottled dressing is pasteurized; it's homemade dressing you need to watch out for.) "Pay close attention to anything that could be made with raw or undercooked eggs, especially if they are not pasteurized," says Lori Zanini, RD, a Los Angeles-based dietitian. The Food and Drug Administration recommends cooking eggs thoroughly and washing all equipment that comes in contact with eggs and your hands with hot soapy water.

4# Leafy green salads

Once you know the dressing's safe, you also want to consider the lettuce itself—and the hygiene habits of the person who prepared it. A CDC report revealed that salad greens—such as lettuce, escarole, endive, spinach, cabbage, kale, arugula, and chard—caused 262 outbreaks involving 8,836 reported cases of foodborne illness between 1998 and 2008. There are a few ways greens can be contaminated: at the farm by manure or dirty water rinses; when a sick person preps a salad without washing their hands; and by cross-contamination at home (for example, by using the same cutting board for raw meat and salad prep, which spreads bacteria from meat to produce.) Wash greens before eating by placing them in a large colander and tossing them under your faucet, or by using a salad spinner.

5# Oysters

If a summertime trip to the shore always includes a stop at a raw oyster bar, consume with caution:Vibrio parahaemolyticus and Vibrio vulnificus can both can be contracted by eating raw shellfish, especially oysters. In fact, the CDC reported a 52% increase in Vibriopoisonings between 2011 and 2013. Both of these bacteria cause diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal pain in healthy people. For people with liver disease, diabetes, cancer, stomach disorders, or any other condition that affects the immune system, Vibrio vulnificus is extremely dangerous: it can invade the bloodstream, causing a life-threatening illness. Half of all Vibrio vulnificus bloodstream infections are fatal.

6# Homemade ice cream

It sounds like a luscious treat, buthomemade ice cream prepared with raw eggs could contain Salmonella, says Leigh Tracy, RD, dietitian at the Center for Endocrinology at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. "The FDA recommends using a custard base or pasteurized eggs." Cooking and pasteurization killsSalmonella. Store-bought ice cream can contain harmful bacteria as well, but it's much more rare. In 2015, both Blue Bell Creameries of Texas and Jeni's Ice Cream of Ohio produced ice cream contaminated with Listeria. The Blue Bell ice cream was linked to 10 illnesses, including three deaths. All that said, you generally shouldn't worry about the safety of store-bought ice cream;Listeria is rarely found in the sweet stuff because it can't grow at cold temperatures.

7# Melons

Cantaloupes have been linked toListeria outbreaks, and watermelon can also cause problems. Listeriatraced back to a North Carolina farm and another outbreak in Colorado sickened more than 140 people and resulted in 30 deaths. Unlike other germs, Listeria can grow in refrigerator-level temperatures. It has no smell or taste and only heat can kill it. But if heated food cools, the Listeria may grow again, according to the FDA. Since the germs live on the outside peel, rinse all melons under running water and scrub with a produce brush before eating or cutting the fruit, even if you peel it first. Cutting into the rind can spread bacteria from the outside of the fruit to the inside.

8# Chicken

Chicken is commonly contaminated with Salmonella and needs to be thoroughly cooked to kill the germs. A 2014 Consumer Reports analysis found that 97% of all chicken breasts, including organic, were contaminated with harmful bacteria. Use a food thermometer when cooking meats and chicken to ensure you've heated them to a safe temperature. Chicken should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees and held at between 140 and 145 degrees, says Goodson. "Plus, be careful of storage practices before it's grilled," she says. "For example, don't put raw chicken or beef, even if wrapped in foil, above the salad or fruit bowl when you are transporting it to the BBQ or party, as fluids can drip and cross-contaminate other foods without you knowing."

9# Tomatoes

Tomatoes are super healthy, and can be tossed into salads or sliced as a burger topping. But because they aren't cooked (which generally kills bacteria) they have been linked to foodborne illness outbreaks. Cases of Salmonella poisoning in 2006 were traced to a packinghouse in Ohio. Overall, 190 people were sickened across 21 states before the source of the outbreak was discovered.Salmonella is found in the feces of animals or in some habitats including ponds as drainage ditches. "It is important to wash your tomatoes thoroughly under running water," says Tracy. "Additionally, discard any bruised or spoiled tomatoes."

10# Macaroni salad

Staphylococcal aureus is type of bacteria found primarily on skin and hair, and can cause food poisoningwhen a person prepping a dish contaminates it and then fails to refrigerate it properly. It's most common in foods that require handling, but no cooking—like macaroni salad. Some strains ofStaphylococcal aureus are capable of producing a highly heat-stable protein toxin, and unlike some germs that can take up to two weeks to cause symptoms, S. aureus can make you sick within 6 hours and sometimes as little as 30 minutes. Any food that should be held either hot to cold, left in the danger zone (40 to 140 degrees F), puts you at risk for foodborne illness.

How to Do Shower Sex RIGHT

When you imagine having sex in the shower, what comes to mind? It might be beautiful, naked, soapy bodies exchanging steamy kisses—or maybe soap in your eyes, butts against cold tiles, and awkwardly slipping against each other as you trying to find a single stable position. The fumbling sex scene in 500 Days of Summer, where they fall out of the tub and rip out the shower curtain; that’s probably the most accurate portrayal of bathroom sex in recent memory.
The secret, as with many other sex situations, is to have fun with it all, says David Yarian, Ph.D, a Nashville-based sex therapist. You can’t expect it to work like normal intercourse, but you can find ways to make your bathroom your own sexual water park. Here are some of his best tips.

You might be completely aroused at the sight of your partner all slicked down, but that shower water could accidentally wash away all of your natural lubrication. “The number one thing that goes wrong is vaginal irritation and/or infection,” says Yarian. By avoiding the water, you can maintain your own wetness so that it doesn’t hurt when he’s entering you. And be really careful if that delicate southern skin gets irritated easily—you might want to avoid getting all soapy in that particular area during the act.

It’s really hard to open a condom with slippery hands, not to mention actually getting it on him. Get protected before you get wet—whether by birth control, IUD, or whatever your personal preference—or if you do want to use a condom, research the brand to see if it can stand up to water, says Yarian.

Do not, we repeat, do not put a foot on the edge of the bathtub. “There’s always the possibility of slipping and falling," says Yarian. One good position that keeps your feet planted firmly on the ground is doggy style. “If the female—or receptive partner—is bent over with both feet on the ground, they might be more stable, and then the man can stand upright behind her,” says Yarian. “I would not add extra acrobatics on top of slipperiness.” It’s an easy way to wind up in an ER. Not hot.

“I think intercourse is the least-safe thing you can do,” says Yarian. “It’s fun to fool around, soap each other up, caress and touch, be slippery together, and then have the actual intercourse outside the bathroom.” Play with the sensuality of the water, the hot air, the new feeling of each other’s bodies. That’s a really great time, too.

Pause to appreciate and embrace the intimacy of the moment. You’re makeup-free, your body is bare, and you’re standing there together taking care of each other. “To have your partner groom you, shampoo you, soap you, it’s pretty intimate,” says Yarian. “It can be slow, and slow is often really sexy.” Give him an epic head scratch as you shampoo his fair, or let him wash you from head to toe, or carefully shave your legs. You might find sensitive spots you didn’t even know you had. Plus, you just crossed a task off your to-do list for the day! It’s a win-win.
